Linking traditional and scientific knowledge for climate risk management

Jointly with the Tanzania’s Sokoine University of Agriculture and the Tanzania Meteorological Agency, the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) is supporting ways to integrate traditional and scientific knowledge. This effort is part of a larger on-going project on promoting integration of indigenous knowledge and scientific weather and climate forecasting for risk management.
